A foodie with a sensitive tum tum…

I always considered myself a person who lived to eat, not someone who ate to live. I love trying out new cuisines, cooking up elaborate meals at home, and sampling the latest in “food trends.” Since I was diagnosed with Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) in the summer of 2018, my world of food has been shaken. I have made drastic dietary changes, eliminating large categories of foods to heal my gut. In order to live my best life, I’ve learned that need to respect my body’s needs and limitations. BUT, I refuse to accept a sad, flavorless diet, so I’ve come up with yummy recipes that my sensitive gut can tolerate.

I also share with you the SIBO - attack plan I’ve been following under the guidance of my functional medicine doctor.
